Heartland's Adventure

Play as Heartland, a quiet hero in a land that remembers more than it tells. Talk to your fellow Hearts—and a few stranger beings—as you solve puzzles, fight slimes, and explore ruins to recover five hidden treasures. What you find might change everything.

This short action-adventure game was built in Godot 4 while following GameDev.tv’s course on 2D game development. It’s a simple yet complete game featuring combat, dialogue, puzzles, and a few surprises along the way.

Controls:

• Arrow keys to move
• x/ space bar to interact/ swing your Bloodthirsty Axe
• r to restart (don't worry, you'll keep all the hearts you've found and you'll stay in whatever room you were last in. All puzzles will restart, though).
• d to bust a move on the slimes (dance)
